Military Tattoo
We just finished our annual observance of Military Tattoo at Valley Forge Military Academy & College. It was an outstanding event and everyone involved did an amazing job!
Heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to all the staff, faculty, and students who worked so hard and practiced so long for this event. Your dedication and hard work were evident to all.
Location: Denham Springs/Philadelphia, Louisiana/Pennsylvania, United States
I joined the Army National Guard while still in high school, and spent a year serving with my unit in Afghanistan attached to the 82nd Airborne. Activated again for Operation Katrina, I had the opportunity to help my beloved home state in the aftermath of that tragic storm.
Because of active duty deployments, it took a while longer than expected to finish college. I started at LSU, transferred to Widener, then received my bachelor's and master's degrees from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. I'm currently pursuing a second graduate degree, an M.Ed in Higher Education Administration, at Northeastern University.
For four years, I have had the privilege of serving as a staff officer at Valley Forge Military Academy & College, and I continue to assist other troops and veterans through Military Service Corps. In March of 2012, I began a new position in student affairs at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
If you have any questions about the Army, Valley Forge Military, or anything else, don't be afraid to ask!
